about the artist

I jokingly say that I am on my fourth career! While not formally trained, I have taken a drawing class and bartered classes for haircuts with the lovely watercolorist Susan Hinton, who now lives in Portland, Oregon. She is an amazing artist and human!

I now have the privilege to be a full time working artist.  Murals and crabs included!  I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and mediums. My absolute favorite thing is finding a creative way to bring a particular vision someone has to life for them.  This is just so exciting because every painting, birthday card, crab or request will need a different and creative  approach.
